Kingdom War Episode I The Night that starts it all
is a short story within a bigger story to come.
The story of Kingdom War is set in a time where a dictatorship known as
The Kramillian empire rules the Trypn Star System for a second time.
Emboldened by the reclamation of the Trypn System and being more powerful and thwarting a prophecy, the Kramillian Empire sends a scouting fleet
out to find and conquer another star system.
when the scouting fleet discovers Earth and its star system,
god puts great fear into the heart of its leader.
The prophecy that the dictatorship once thought thwarted,
is in its early stages of fulfilment.
A NOTE FROM BEN LINES
If you are reading this note, thank you for scrolling down this far.
This is currently my hobby. I can only get to it when I can.
I would rather visitors click on the banners in the homepage and spend a few minutes to view my flip book comics for free, than to let my work go unnoticed. It has taken me many years to develop the stories I have and hours to produce the work.
It is my enjoyment in life!
Viewing my work for free, at this stage, is what I prefer. I have a story I want to tell.
My work and this overall story of Kingdom War is only in it's infancy. Episode I is like one puzzle piece in a 500 or 1000 piece puzzle. You won't understand until more is added.
One day, when more stories are added to Kingdom War, they will link up with each other and not just the stories and introducing new characters along the way, but things like for example the container of Narloosan Alkilin, in Part 1, that Nicholas Xander and his gang open and the big crate next to the gang members in Part 1, Panel 3, Page 9.
The six crates of Narloosan Alkilin that Nicholas Xander and his gang discover and open at the beginning of Part 1, are fuel for a large seismic device called an (ASD) ANYERIAN SEISMIC DEVICE. That large seismic device is in that big crate in Part 1, Panel 3, Page 9.
The (ASD) ANYERIAN SEISMIC DEVICE is from the planet Anyeria in the Trypn System. ASD devices, small and large, are designed to split tectonic plates. That ASD in Part 1 is used many years after Xander's incident at Wykan Warehouse and more than 30 years before Kingdom War Episode I - The Night that starts it all short story.
The large ASD is used and it splits a tectonic plate catastrophically and destroys the city Nicholas Xander is in. That event leads into Kingdom War: Turf Wars/The rise of Nicholas Xander. That is a story I will get to eventually.
I want to create Kingdom War: The Kramillian Empire - after Episode I short story because doing this next sets up the overall story of Kingdom War. Majority of that story will be narrated.
In regards to my comics, the aim of choosing a 1-3 panel per page structure is to keep you focused on the story and not be distracted by a busy page of panels. I want to be different. Each panel is meant to lead to what happens next, especially the last panel before the page turn and the book is designed with the page turn in mind. It is a part of the experience.
Even the panels themselves have meaning. The panels with no borders is meant to bring calm. A panel with a thin border is meant to get your attention and the panels with thick borders is meant to bring tension.
All new things start rough and can only improve. It's my baby!
In the end, it is all fun. It is okay to be different.
The website will probably go through different adjustments.
If you are reading this sentence, thank you for your attention
and it is my enjoyment to share it with you.
